Volunteering Group to Israel
February 25 – March 2 2024
Day 1
- Welcome to Israel!
- Arrive on your own to the hotel.
- Evening gathering dinner at a restaurant in Tel Aviv for a briefing with your guide.
Day 2
- Drive south to the Gaza envelope.
- Volunteer on an agricultural farm in the region.
- lunch
- Visit wounded soldiers in Beer Sheva organized by the “Association for the Israeli soldiers”.
- Return to Tel Aviv.
- Free evening and dinner on your own.
Day 3
- Drive south to the Gaza envelope.
- Visit and tour one of the Kibbutzim that were attacked on the October 7th events.
- Visit the site of the Nova festival in Re’im.
- Volunteer to help feed soldiers coming in and out of Gaza.
- Return to Tel Aviv.
- Free evening and dinner on your own.
Day 4
- Volunteer at a farm through the “Civil headquarters”. An organization that took responsibility to cover all civil needs that are not attended currently by the government.
- Drive up north to Mt. Carmel. Enjoy lunch and hospitality at a Druze village. Learn about the Druze religion and community and their blood ties with the state of Israel.
- Return to Tel Aviv.
- Free evening and dinner on your own.
Day 5
- Morning meeting with a military/political expert.
- Volunteer on an army base.
- Return to Tel Aviv and visit the hostage’s square.
- Free evening and dinner on your own.
Day 6 – Tel Aviv
- Drive up to Jerusalem.
- View over the old city.
- Short tour of the Jewish quarter and visit the Western Wall.
- Lunch on your own at the Machane Yehuda food market.
- Return to Tel Aviv
- Free evening and dinner on your own.
